Group
visits
Our museum is suitable for group visits of school classes or tourists. At the front side of the museum are parking facilities for coaches. If you plan to visit the Museum Bahari please let us know prior to your visit. Please notify us about one week in advance so we are prepared for this.
There will be (multiple) guides for you on arrival who will welcome you, possibly split the groups up and subsequently give you an extensive tour around the museum. Our staff usually allocates 1 guide per 20 persons. Then the groups roaming through the museum will not be too big so your guide can give you and your group the full attention you deserve. There are multiple routes through the museum so congestion with other groups does not need to happen.

Groups of less than 20 persons pay the regular admission fee per person.
To avoid any misunderstanding you are advised to arrange for an official guide via the staff of the museum. Simply pay the fee of the guide simultaneously with the admission tickets and the staff member will arrange that the fee will go to your guide.
One always can find cheaper guides as they are everywhere in Jakarta but the expression goes: if you pay peanuts you might catch monkeys...
