The Maritime Museum in Jakarta has an educational nature and is meant to give you a glimpse on the important maritime tradition of Indonesia. The Maritime Museum is therefore free for all visitors who are interested as such.

The museum is opened on a daily basis between 9.00 en 15.00, from Tuesday until Sunday. During school holidays the museum will also be open.

However the museum will be closed every Monday and the following special days:

It is possible that certain areas of the museum are closed for public as part of the renovation program.
